On the morning of Friday, July 7th, we held a brunch at the WIZO Hall fundraising for research on Early Detection of Alzheimer Disease at Hadassah Ein Kerem. The participants enjoyed a delicious brunch of varied pies, salads, breads, cheeses, and coffee and cakes.

The room was full to capacity. Following the meal, Judith Kabiri welcomed the guests and spoke in both Hebrew and English about Mor chapter programs and volunteering opportunities. We were honored to have Michal Shmueli, National President of Hadassah Israel among our guests, together with Chapter presidents and members from Bat Yam, Rishon Letzion, Rehovot, Modiin (English speaking group) and Jerusalem. Michal spoke to the participants about Hadassah-Israel and the National fundraising project.

In the background we screened a presentation of Hadassah-Israel and Mor Chapter fundraising events and the projects for Hadassah Hospital. We continued with a raffle of items donated by Mor chaverot with much excitement among those who won them!

The fashion show was organized by Yigal Cherniak who also presented the models and described the season's trends in dresses and other items of clothing. The show was interspersed with dances professionally performed by 2 dancers.

Thanks to all members of the Fundraising Committee – Judy Kabiri, Ann Belinsky, Naomi Sivan, Debbie Dumanis, Aliza Elmaliach, Hanita Baruch and Nurit Sofer, who worked so hard to make this morning a success. Thanks also to Liora Bernstein and Galila Katzir who received the guests at the entrance and directed them to their tables. We are always happy to receive new participants for this Committee.
